      Interview

Incredibly lengthy and demanding interview process (6 rounds total). Required significant personal time investment, including using 3 days of Paid Time Off (PTO). Included multiple in-person interview stages (2 rounds) requiring travel/time off. Ultimately rejected for having experience that was clearly stated on my resume and discussed in the very first interview. The reason given ("experience they weren't looking for") directly contradicts the business area they operate in and my relevant background in that specific field (veterinary space). Demonstrates poor internal communication and a lack of respect for candidates' time and expertise. Interview Process: The interview process was exceptionally long, consisting of six distinct rounds after the initial application/recruiter screen. This included a case study presentation, an onsite visit to a hospital, and a visit to HQ which involved 5, 1:1 interviews. These two of these rounds were conducted in-person, necessitating travel and requiring me to take a total of three days off from my current job (using valuable PTO). The entire process felt rigorous, and I invested significant time and effort preparing for each stage. After completing all six rounds, I was informed that I would not be receiving an offer. The reason provided was that my experience wasn't what they were ultimately looking for. The most frustrating part is that the specific experience they cited (my background in the veterinary space) was not only relevant to the role and the company's business interests but was also explicitly discussed and known by the interview team from the very first conversation. It's baffling and disrespectful to lead a candidate through such an extensive, time-consuming process (including multiple days of PTO for in-person interviews) only to reject them based on information you possessed from day one.
