I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at VC5 Consulting (Houston, TX) in Aug 2024
Interview
The interview process started with me learning about the conversation through the internal recruiter/training coordinator. From there I moved to the virtual round where I met with a team member, went through 10 or so questions and had a chance to ask my own questions. The virtual interview was recorded so it could be shared with the partners on the company. After that, I was invited to meet onsite and met a few more team members.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at VC5 Consulting in Feb 2019
Interview
I was first contacted on LinkedIn by one of their recruiters. After deciding to keep an open mind I set up the initial phone call with a recruiter from Houston. My first warning sign should have been the feeling I had once we talked about my involvement while I was in school. Discussing Greek Life, she shared with me which organization she belonged to as well. I was then asked for the “dirty deets” regarding the chapter of her organization on my campus. The next step was a series of interview questions that would be recorded using an interview generating site. I was told my answers would be reviewed by her boss (Senior Recruiter). When I followed up with my initial interviewer, she told me I was not chosen due to my graduation date. Both in my phone call and on my LinkedIn bio it states that I was graduating college in May 2019. After that email I felt as though everyone’s time had been wasted.
