Utex Industries interview questions

I was contacted by the recruiter two weeks after applying. I skipped the initial screen and was invited to speak with the hiring manager in a Teams meeting. The job was advertised with a salary of $60K and required only two years of customer service experience, which is the number I entered in the application since you can only provide one figure. At the end of the interview, the manager asked if I was open to a range, and I said I was. She didn’t share the range and instead wanted me to provide a number, then mentioned she would need to check because this was considered an entry-level role. Additionally, she wasn’t sure whether there would be a second round with the Sales Manager. I didn’t like being invited to interview if the salary was potentially an issue. I also think it’s misleading to list a specific salary in the job posting and then say you’re unsure what it’s supposed to be. It just fell off.
