A recruiter reached out to schedule a phone screen and didn't send over the email confirmation until 2 hours before the actual phone screen. Right after the phone screen, a video interview was set with the hiring manager. After that, there is a take home assignment and another video interview with the hiring manager to discuss the project. It seems like they were trying to move very quickly and hire someone ASAP. The interview schedule seemed rather confusing to me. When sending over the take home assignment, they also asked for availability for an on-site. After discussing the assignment with the hiring manager, I heard nothing for days. I had to follow up three times to receive a generic auto-response email. I don't understand why the recruiter couldn't just respond to my emails and answer questions regarding the on-site. When I asked for feedback, I was ghosted.
