The first step was filling out a questionnaire regarding past work experience and interest in the company. The next step was a call with the manager to determine if the role was a good fit. The first interview was offered either in-person or virtual. I opted for the former. Tip for future interviewers: go up the elevator to the second floor. The entrance is immediately outside if you're in the correct wing (I searched for a solid 15 minutes trying to find it). The only negatives I had with the experience were that they took four weeks to get back to me with a second interview request (which made me initially think that they had ghosted me, offered the position to someone else, and that person declined the offer). As such, I wasn't super keen on doing a second in-person interview, so I opted for virtual instead. From there, I had a tight deadline for another job offer and voiced that to the company. They made the decision by the next day that it was too soon to extend an offer, so I accepted the other position. I appreciated their transparency. Overall, Uproer seemed like an incredible place to work, and the employees appear to be passionate about the company. If an offer had been extended, I would have said yes based on their values and morality alone.
