Casual meeting with supervisor. The meeting was online using Zoom, with around 15 minutes of time describing project details. Very few questions were asked, and the interview ended within 25 minutes.

Disappointing application process despite promising start I applied to UKER and travelled from another country for an interview, feeling quite confident after receiving positive feedback during the interview. I was assured that I would be contacted within two weeks to discuss the next steps. Unfortunately, despite following up twice in the last 2.5 months, I have received no update regarding my application. While UKER has an impressive careers website and the interview itself went well, the overall application process was a major disappointment. A more timely and transparent communication process would have been appreciated, especially after the effort involved in travelling for the interview. I hope the UKER improves its recruitment process to provide clearer updates and a more respectful experience for candidates.
