I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Universal Orlando Resort (Orlando, FL) in Jun 2015
Interview
I applied online and didn't hear from Universal for around a week. I received an email asking me to attend a job fair for an interview. On the day of the interview, I arrived roughly 15 minutes early. It didn't take long to be initially interviewed by someone in HR. They told me they'd like to recommend me for a job, and I was moved on to an interview with a manager. The manager asked me a couple basic questions and offered me a job. The entire process took around four hours because there were so many applicants, but everything ran smoothly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q: Why do you want to work at Universal?
Q: Why do you want to be a hostess?
Q: Would you be interested in any other jobs if we are unable to offer you a position as a hostess?
Q: Have you ever had an unhappy guest? How did you resolve the situation?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Universal Orlando Resort (Orlando, FL) in Jun 2021
Interview
The interview was done on the phone and she just asked me a couple of questions about my experience and job preferences/availability. It was a quick phone call and was very easy.

Question 1
What have you done at your previous jobs when a customer is upset/angry?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Universal Orlando Resort (Orlando, FL) in Oct 2015
Interview
They ask about experience and talk about pay. The man didn't seem to care he just needed another spot to fill because the place (Vivo) can't seem to keep people long and people are dispensable. Because after all it's such an awesome place to work and it's the only place. That last part was heavy sarcasm.

Question 1
I don't remember. The questions didn't seem sincere. Normally at real interviews they actually are prying or your resume sparked interest.
