      Web Developer Interview

      Feb 17, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Toronto, ON
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Unata (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2017

      Interview

The interview happened in 3 stages. The first was a phone interview which lasted about 30 minutes in which I described my past job experience and the hiring manager went over what the company does, some of their perks, etc. After that I came in for a few back-to-back interviews with members of the team who had the job I was vying for, someone who oversaw their team at the managerial level, and finally the "manager of culture (/HR)". These lasted a combined 2 1/2 hours or so. Finally the next day I met with the CEO for a quick meeting (who meets with all of the potential new hires who reach this stage) and I was presented an offer shortly after (within 24 hours). Overall the interview process is *very* efficient. Not a lot of technical questions, more conversational with a bit of whiteboarding. It's a process which allows both sides to see if the company and role is a good fit for the candidate, not only in terms of qualifications but also culture fit.
