      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Udacity (New Delhi) in Aug 2017

      Interview

-1 round of telephonic discussion with India Product Head - 3 rounds of online coding rounds over blueJeans - 4-5 rounds of general and HR discussion in Person , Face to Face Aweful experience. Don not recommend anybody to interview for Udacity India. Here are the details :- After my 3 rounds of technical coding rounds, more than Questions related to my current job, previous job, projects, 1. They were bothered whether if I would join their company or not. The management in India is way too unproffesional. They donot have the capability to manage a team. They cannot take decisions on their own. 2. They stretched the process to more than 2 months with calling me unnecessarily to their office for meaningless discussions. 3. I got interviewed with the Udacity India Product Lead, India Managing Director and India Operations head and everybody's response was positive initially. 4. However, they asked me to wait for a week for the offer letter and budget approval from US office. 5. 10 days went by and no response. I tried reaching out to them over mail, no response. I called them over phone, they disconnected every single time. 6. I waited for another two weeks and got frustrated by their behavior. I escalated my concern to the US hiring team who told that even they are not getting any response from the India team. 7. Finally after another 10days of follow-ups, I got the response that they have hired some one else and the position is closed.
