I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at USI Insurance Services (Nashville, TN) in Aug 2024
Interview
Great and easy really good recruiting process. Allowed you to express your needs and told you everything she knew other knowledge. Understood demands in the market for sales producers. Culture seems to be thriving and growing organization.

Question 1
Where do you see yourself in 5 years with your book of business?
Contacted via LinkedIn on two separate occasions by two separate recruiters and get the same canned email:
“I came across your profile and was really impressed by your ability to build relationships and drive results in a complex, high-stakes environment.
At USI, we’re growing our team and offering producers real support, a competitive base salary, 40% NB commission, and first‑year equity ownership opportunities, all within a Top 10 national platform. If you’re open to it, I’d welcome the chance to connect.”
Let me know a few times you are available this week and I will make room on my calendar.”
I then tell them I am interested, we have a phone call that passes me on to a branch manager who then tells me I am wasting his time without having insurance experience.
This is a job I never applied for. They can’t seem to determine if they want people in or outside the insurance industry.

Question 1
How do you build a pipeline and determine what is a good prospect?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at USI Insurance Services (Phoenix, AZ) in May 2025
Interview
Lengthy, at least 4 interviews, 3 of which are online or by phone. Personality test involved. Recruiter basically disappeared after I was notified I didn't get the role after my third interview, which was frustrating because I would have loved the feedback
