Interview
There was no formal interview process that took place. Hiring process took 4 months (including the required background search). Was asked to resubmit documents on multiple occasions and spoke to hiring manager about availability and possible start date.
The interview was by phone. No in person interview. Easy questions were asked - nothing difficult. They asked about my experience as an attorney and why I wanted to work for the US Small Business Administration. Overall it was one of the easiest interviews I have been involved in.
It was a simple process and it was pretty standard for the government. I had one interview, then I got an offer some months later, and I started some months after that.
