I was contacted by the recruiter and did a brief phone screen, basically just confirming resume items. She then sent me challenge problem, and a dataset. The directions were vague - basically "what customers would be a good candidates for our delivery service" and she said it should take me about 2 hours. I should have asked more questions because after exploring the dataset I had no idea what they wanted out of this. The data was messy, and there wasn't a clear thing to predict (ASK QUESTIONS WHEN THEY SEND IT TO YOU). After returning the challenge, I scheduled an interview with the hiring manager. Normal interview here. Afterwards, I was then told I would be meeting with his boss for a final interview (kind of a lot for an associate role). The HR rep never scheduled that final interview, and ended up just ghosting me on the whole process. I emailed the hiring manager a month later, and he said they had filled the position. Not sure what happened here, but it's pretty annoying to go through the whole interview/case study process and then be ghosted on the back end.
