Interview
We first started by introducing ourselves to the panel. We then saw a brief powerpoint presentation along with a video of the Department of Defense and statistics of the employee background. They then asked about three very easy questions regarding which department I would want to work in, why my background fits with the group, and why I really wanted to work with the Department of Defense. It was a very easy and relaxed interview.

Interview
Telephone interview only - 40 minutes to answer 7 questions from an interview panel
This was the only interview, not on-site visit. Very difficult to accept a position without any in-person interactions. If I wasn't familiar with the area, would not have accepted. Fortunately it is a very well run department with competent and personable co workers. I am glad I accepted the position.
