Interview
I took the ASVAB and was contacted by an AF recruiter about a week later. I was asked to come in to discuss possibly joining. I went through some of the job openings/interests that aligned with my scores. After that I went through MEPS, where they doing various physical tests and drug tests to make sure you are fit for duty. Finally, I got a ship date for basic training.

Question 1
There is no interview. So long as you don't have a criminal background and/or don't do drugs, you should have no problem joining. The recruiter will discuss possible jobs for you to fill.
