A 30-minute interview with a human resources representative, brief mutual introductions, questions about experience in the areas of APIs, data analysis, and search engines. Very friendly and interested, no tests, no trick questions.

I had a disappointing experience. After an initial call with HR, I was invited to a second interview with the Design Lead, where I was to present a project from my portfolio. I reached out with a few straightforward questions to prepare effectively, but after waiting over a week without a response, I chose to withdraw my application. The interview process should be a reflection of potential future collaboration, and being ignored as a candidate raises significant concerns about what it would be like to be part of the team.

Interview
In 2022, fully online. First - HR call or phone screening. Then, a take home assignment related to their APIs. Afterwards, interview by engineering team - discussing the assignment. Final round interview by management team. Then negotiation and offer from HR.
