      Planning Officer Interview

      Mar 18, 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at UNICEF

      Interview

When submitting the application there were around 10 eliminatory screening questions on UNICEF in general. The second round was then conducted through a software called "Interview Master" where your language skills (the UN languages you indicated), technical knowledge (through a very difficult multiple choice test) and writing/stress skills relevant for the post (a written test with 10 pages of reading and strategic summarizing) were tested. The third and final round was an interview via skype/phone with a panel of 3-4 people.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

UN competency questions relating to project management experience, working in multicultural teams and reactions in difficult situations at work.
