      Application

      I interviewed at UC Health

      Interview

I applied in April. Two months later, I get a text message. At first, I thought it was spam, but it was from someone/something claiming to be from UC Health, inviting me to an "AI phone screen." It was like a slap in the face. They have so little respect for the time and effort I put into applying for the job that they expect me to be grateful just to talk to a machine -- and a human will never hear the conversation. It's been two months since I applied, so it's obvious they have no intention of hiring me. What's the point of this attempt at humiliation by telling me to talk to a machine? Well, if this is how they treat applicants, it speaks volumes about what their employees must experience. Maybe I dodged a bullet.

      Question 1

None, but I'd like to ask any humans who still work in HR a question: When did treating applicants with respect go out of style?
