I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Trupanion (Seattle, WA) in Jun 2019
Interview
I was approached by a team lead on LinkedIn to see if I was interested in a rep role. I have 12+ years of management experience, including in the pet industry, so their recruiting needs opportunity. Who jumps at a level and pay cut? Always intrigued by Trupanion, I replied but clarified my level of experience. After a phone screen and interview I was brought into the office for an in person.
It was a 2:1 interview with 1 lead and 1 manager, followed my a job shadow with another CSR, taking about 1.5 hours total. All of it was a fairly laid back atmosphere. Not a stressful in person, however multiple questions are based on a negative connotation, so prepare.
4 days later I received the blanket, auto rejection email without any explanation. The CX department has opportunity with who they are recruiting, when to bring someone in office and when to have someone job shadow. Suggestion: Have a little more decently than robo emails when someone takes 3 hours out of their day for an in person.

I applied online. I interviewed at Trupanion (Clinton, NC)
Interview
Very easy. They were very easy to talk Simple questions to get to know you better and also discussed the company a little. She was very nice and we laughed and talked one of the easiest interviews I’ve ever had
I had an initial phone interview and a follow up video interview. Both interviews were very pleasant and I enjoyed speaking with each person. I enjoyed learning more about the position and the company as a whole.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Trupanion (Emmitsburg, MD) in May 2023
Interview
Very easy and quick process. Found out that I didn’t get the position fairly quickly as well. I feel like I didn’t answer questions in the way that they wanted and had I known what they were looking for, things would have gone differently.
