This was the most disorganized process I've ever had applying with a company. Applied for job, recruiter requested to interview me, calls me at the scheduled time and says the role I applied for isn't open anymore. Asked if I'd be interested in another role, requested to hear more about that role, but was directed to go read it on the website and email them if I'm still interested. Could have either just cancelled the interview to not have me prepare and block off time, or been prepared to discuss the other role during that time. I then request another interview for the other posted job. I sign up for a time with the recruiter again. Nobody calls me during that time. I email recruiter to see if we can still do the call, then was rescheduled to later that day due to technical problems on their end. Fair enough, that happens. Then about an hour later I get a call from recruiter wanting to do the call right then and there, hours before our rescheduled time. I was still interested in the company, and the role, and I went through with the phone interview. The recruiter sounded robotic, completely unenthused, and was either not interested in doing their job, OR overworked and needs more support to adequately do their job. Either way, this totally turned me off to the company as a whole, and looks like many others on here are speaking about similar treatment in their interview experience with True Car as well. Companies in no way owe anyone a job, that's not what this review is about, but you do owe people adequate communication and following through on your word.
