Extremely lengthy process with inexperienced interviewers who lacked knowledge of Kafka and event driven systems, making the entire experience frustrating, unproductive, and ultimately a complete waste of my valuable time.

It was a hiring drive where both freshers and experienced candidates were present. I got a call from naukri after which an online test was scheduled on coding and MCQs. It was easy to clear. I applied as a fresher. Then there were 2 or 3 onsite rounds . First Round : Started with asking about projects in details. Then moved to Java questions about interface, inheritance,etc. Then some SQL queries was asked. Then asked a program on linkedlist which I couldn't answer and one on array which I did. I cleared the first round. Second Round : Asked about Java, hashmap internal implementation, SQL, one program on array which I answered but couldn't optimize the solution. Hence another round was scheduled for me. Third Round : This was the worst possible round. The interviewer seemed not interested at all and was wearing earphones and listening to something. Asked just one question to find whether a number is a power of 2 like 16,32,64,etc without loop. Then asked some questions just for formality.
