I got a phone call from a nice lady with some pre qualification questions. She could not answer my question about salary range, so she called back the next work day. I thought the interview went well. I waited about one week to see if they had any further information, and was told no. I waited one more week and specifically asked if I would get an interview and was told the hiring of the three supervisory positions were on hold. I then asked a friend to call in and ask if they were still accepting applications and he was told yes, and they were expecting to fill the position in the near future.
This was upsetting because I met the qualifications, had first hand experience in the jobs to be supervised, plus brought 30 years of experience from a manufacturing environment with an IT background as well. My job was moved out of the US but I was still employed.
It seems this company, or at least this facility is managed without integrity. Lying to potential candidates for employment is a terrible thing. It's a clear sign of how you will be treated if employed.
