      Functional Interview

      Feb 10, 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Trek Bicycle

      Interview

7-8 people all the way from dept. head down to the "would be subordinates" each one scheduled separate 45 minutes interview sessions taking away a good number of hours in the day. No response regarding the outcome of the interview despite repeated follow-ups. This clearly reflects that the company does not follow a clear framework or procedure in its hiring process.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

7-8 employees with different skill sets interviewed separately. The interview questions lacked depth despite the fact that some of those employees were responsible for areas that required in-depth specialized technical aknowledge. One of the employees even asked question like university graduation year and university name which could be viewed as interviewer trying to know the age and ethnic background which can be contrued as a breach of EEOC law
