I was approached by a recruiter whilst at the end stages of another interview for a different company. The process moved quickly with a friendly phone chat with their Lead Front End Developer who had a very good knowledge and friendly manner. This was just a chat to find out what I had been doing and what I knew about.
Next was the in person interview where I had to have a short technical test which was very simple and in 2 phases. One problem here was the tools I was given to complete the challenge were quite simply, terrible, (an 8 inch laptop with a text editor) but the challenge was easy enough. Next I had to complete a website critique where I listed my concerns with the overall feel, UX and general problems with an existing companies website. This was followed up with a group conversation between the Project Manager and UX expert where they asked about my reasoning.
