Me contactaron vía mail. Tras esto tuve una entrevista breve por Skype con la persona de recursos humanos correspondiente. Me comentaron en general cómo iba a ser el puesto de trabajo que solicité y cómo iba a ser el proceso de selección. El proceso de selección constaba en una primera prueba en la que tenías que corregir ciertos errores de varios textos. Si pasabas esta prueba tenías una breve entrevista con parte de los integrantes del grupo de trabajo. Si causabas una buena impresión pasabas a la segunda prueba, que consistía en responder adecuadamente a ciertas situaciones simulando que eres un gestor de proyectos. Pasé la primera prueba y la entrevista con el equipo pero asumo que no pasé la segunda prueba pues tras enviarla no volví a saber de la empresa.

Question 1
La primera prueba consistía en corregir errores lingüísticos y tipográficos de dos grupos de documentos, uno era del inglés al inglés y otro del inglés al sueco.
El segundo test era responder a las preguntas que te daban de acuerdo a varios escenarios. Tenías que simular que respondías a varios emails siendo un gestor de proyectos en las situaciones que te daban, como por ejemplo si un traductor no te había entregado la tarea a tiempo. Dentro de la tarea también tenías que hacer varios cálculos de presupuestos.

I was interviewed by someone in the human resources team via a videocall. She was nice and there wasn’t any tension at all. Questions were easy and casual. She wanted me to go through my resume and then she asked me about my specific expertise in the translation industry. I received an offer one week later, which I declined because the offered salary was too low, even for a remote position.
