The Trader Joe's hiring process is personable, equitable, and thorough. I was reviewed by numerous managers before meeting with the store manager. Each session was relaxed and made me eager to work with a seemingly wonderful group of people. Aside from questions about myself and why I wanted to work at TJ's, they were especially interested in show I view the knowledge sharing aspect in any work environment. I believe that my background and respect of all peoples' backgrounds and experiences cast me in a positive light for this company. I look forward to working on this "team."
I had a call with the hiring manager about a sales associate position. After a few days, I got a follow up to come in for a basic interview that went over my previous sales associate experiences.

The interview process was pretty standard for a retail environment. They asked the usual questions you would expect for this type of role and required the usual amount of experience.

How will you improve the customer experience at Trader Joes
Was awesome - very friendly and down to earth, seems like a great place to work. Hope I get the job. Some easy questions, about work experience and the like, but also some curveballs. They asked me to give a lot of scenarios where I encountered certain difficulties and $18 an hour is not bad.
