Called from a recruiter. She was impressed. Set up a conversation with DM. Call went well. Met in person. Very unprofessional. Constant interruptions. DM set up interview with another DM. No call back for weeks. I had to continue to call for follow up. The recruiter went on vacation. The person she left to answer her calls never returned my call. The DM went on vacation. Said I slipped through the cracks. Very poor follow up all around. This was one of the most unprofessional experience in my working career.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Tractor Supply (Chelsea, AL) in Jan 2022
Interview
long and really did not talk about the job hours and benefits that were offered. nice people and clean store knew some people that worked there and they love the store
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Tractor Supply (Tampa, FL) in Jan 2018
Interview
Recruiter reached out 2 weeks later an interview was scheduled with the DM. Regular retail interview. Focus on customer loyalty and ways to drive sales and retain staff. However be aware if you apply for an unassigned opening the position really does not exist and you will get an offer with compensation for a store manager, if you are not placed within a certain time frame following training your salary will be reduced and you will take a lower position. For this I decided against joining this company. If you are unemployed you may want to chance it. I on the otherhand was not goibg to leave a secured position for training and a promise. Otherwise it seems to be a great company.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tractor Supply (Oneonta, NY) in Jun 2017
Interview
Phone interview, meeting 1, meeting 2, meeting 3, meeting 4. It was an extensive process and a bit unnecessary. They were all kind and know what they are talking about. If you don't know P&L then this is not a position for you.
