Question 1
What I knew about tote Ireland and the type of bets
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Tote Ireland (The Curragh) in Sep 2016
Interview
Recruiter contacted me - usual selling the position as a good opportunity etc... When eventually they agreed to interview me I was disgusted with the tension between the two men in the three person panel, no technical understanding of any of the software needed - asked me really stupid questions like: If I gave you a week how would you redesign Tote Ireland website? This would not be possible and showed their lack of understanding they have of UI,UX design planning, wire framing and implementation, I felt they were only trying to trip me up, had not looked properly at my online portfolios and had no idea if they wanted a graphic designer, front end developer, web developer or a magician! However, the lady was a more respectful which gives me the impression I was judged for being a lady designer developer, I pity whoever ended up in this toxic environment and feel I dodged a bullet.
