Applied for a Japanese speaking role on MCF and was invited to a 30 minutes online interview promptly by the Japanese Managing Director. The entire interview was held in Japanese with the MD doing a short introduction about the company and the advertised job role followed by a quick quiz on some knowledge relevant to the job advertised. Lastly, we went through my resume for the rest of the interview. I was only experienced in less than half of the intended scope unfortunately and received a rejection notification 3.5 weeks later. The quiz format was quite refreshing and straight to the point, allowing both parties to assess experience/ suitability effectively in a short amount of time. Pleasant interviewing experience overall.
