I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Topgolf (Houston, TX) in Feb 2014
Interview
Do you have dignity? A higher level intelligence? Not completely desperate for a job? Think hi fives are annoying? Do NOT bother with this interview. It's several hours long and quite demeaning for a position that does not require anything more than having a positive attitude in a work environment and working well with people.
I could barely fake the enthusiasm I had for this company once I was in the thick of their recruitment event. There were several times when I considered walking out. You dance with a group of about 120 people. You do group activities that are team building in nature. Then, they feed you. Thirty seconds to speak to two people, a minute-ish to talk to four people, and ninety seconds to make eight people tolerate you in a nerve-wracking style FOR A POSITION THAT DOESN'T REQUIRE THIS.
There was nothing fun about this experience, and I can't imagine how it was fun for people. I'm a very outgoing person with a considerable amount of skills to add to a company of this nature, but how are they supposed to know this? They didn't actually take the time to get to know me.
The positive experience is that they taught me that I will never consider going to an interview like this again despite extending an invitation to their next recruitment day.
They used to do group interviews, that was my experience. One-on-one interviews are more common now. Interviews are done on site in the venue. It's very casual and calm. For the group interviews, they just want to see how you interact with other people.
Not your average interview. Beginning of the interview they played music and we played team bonding games then they asked a few questions about experience and availability and then one random question

interview process is so fun! of course people are tensed up and have anxiety about the job, but we danced, and released all that tension. It was a team effort, and you’re interviewed in a group.
