      Assistant Store Manager Interview

      Feb 7, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Denver, CO
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Timbuk2 (Denver, CO) in Feb 2014

      Interview

Submitted a resume through their hiring platform and received an email about setting up a phone interview. Interviewer was flexible with my schedule (I was about to go out of town to an area with zero phone coverage), and set it up for my return. After that interview I had a follow up interview with their then head of retail. It took about 3-4 weeks for them to make an offer due to some other staffing issues with their SM candidate.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked very specific behavioral questions like: "Tell me about a time when you had to correct a behavior of an associate, and how did you do that."
