Series of three interviews after a recruiter phone screen. Screening and interview one and two both went great, a lot of positive feedback and good interaction. All of these were one on one interviews with a brief pitch in the second. Pitch instructions were very limited so go into knowing they want a sell instead of a demo, which felt more like they were looking for an Account Executive than a Solutions Consultant. Good and reasonable feedback though. Felt good after the first two following the phone screen. Third interview was a panel interview with other members of the team. Two of the interviewers felt very engaged, lots of good back and forth. The third one looked incredibly annoyed to be there, was doing the interview from a car, had bad internet connection and looked bored. Randomly shut their camera off five minutes in to what was a 45 minute interview, and dropped from the call completely at about ten minutes with a “gotta go” style message. Didn’t feel like my odds were good at that point. Rest of the team seemed great though and the product is pretty nifty, see a lot of potential for application in it moving forward. Just remember even for a pre sales or non account role, hard pitch. And hope no one is interviewing you from the car and annoyed.
