L'esperienza è stata (fortunatamente) totalmente negativa. Fin dall'inizio la comunicazione è stata gestita da 3 persone diverse a livello global per una posizione sull'ufficio di Milano. Dopo una prima telefonata con HR e diverse difficoltà nel fissare il secondo colloquio con l'hiring manager e superato anche questo secondo step viene inviato un brief di una presentazione da preparare per un potenziale cliente. Anche qui difficoltà per fissare il terzo step del colloquio. Alla presentazione assistono 4 diversi dipendenti (uno di questi l'hiring manager e il suo responsabile). Tutti e 4 si collegano in ritardo, riducendo quindi la finestra di tempo disponibile per il colloquio. Dopo che viene fatta la presentazione vengono poste domande generiche (e banali) sulla presentazione presentata senza approfondire le conoscenze tecniche e il CV del candidato, poste tra l'altro dal capo dell'hiring manager e non dall'hiring manager stesso. Ore e ore di preparazione perse per un colloquio poco professionale. Per fortuna la candidatura non viene portata avanti, l'impressione dell'ambiente dall'esterno è che non sia tra i migliori dove poter lavorare.

The interview process consisted of five stages: Talent Acquisition, Hiring Manager, Manager +1, Manager +2, and HRBP. Overall, the process was well-organized and seamless, with clear communication and timely scheduling between each round. Every interviewer was professional and provided a positive candidate experience throughout the process. However, after the final interview, I did not receive any updates despite following up. It was only after my second direct follow-up that I finally received a response regarding the outcome.

The process spanned almost 3 months - the recruiting team is terrible at scheduling things fast enough. They try to get a million people in these interviews, which makes it super difficult to get something in the books fast enough. My interview was rescheduled like 3-4x. The case study also doesn’t make sense - it is unnecessarily too long.

Interview
Recruiter screen → Hiring manager → Case + deck creation → Panel interview → Offer stage
The interview rounds were structured and professional. The case assignment was clear, and the panel interview went smoothly, although a scheduled grandparent interviewer did not attend and there was no separate grandparent interview afterward.
The experience changed at the offer stage. The level proposed did not match the scope discussed throughout the interviews, and the compensation presented was significantly below market for the responsibilities outlined. Requests for clarity on leveling criteria, compensation philosophy, and internal benchmarks were met with vague answers, making it difficult to understand how the offer was determined.
The team seemed alright, but the lack of transparency and the large gap between role expectations and the final offer raised concerns about internal alignment. I ultimately declined.
