The recruiting agency that contacted me was extremely professional.
The internal process was lengthy. Basically, phone screens, 1:1 phone interviews plus a full day.
Unfortunately, this company doesn't understand that the potential for liability at the interview stage in the hiring process is tremendous. For a 'culture interview' they had what seemed to be untrained, inexperienced individuals on the interview panel who did not know or understand how to keep an interview legal. Many questions towed the line or crossed it. Scary!
Oh, and they use the Wonderlic cognitive abilities test...
They also like to throw around the word intelligent.
My advice is that they take a critical look at the interview panel and process before it backfires.
