Firstly I cleared an online test at HackerEarth, it consisted of 2 questions and about an hours time. Then I was emailed an assignment. Two questions, choose any , implement it and submit it in three days. I choose the Merchants guide problem and submitted the assignment. The output was correct and even though the problem did not support any oops concepts I tried to modularize it as much as possible. Three weeks after submitting the assignment I get I reply that based on the submission they cannot take it further. I fail to understand how bad the design could be even though the output is correct. I had heard a lot about ThoughtWorks, but I am disappointed with the experience I had with them.
