I had a group interview with other potential camp counselors. The various camp directors asked questions, which were mainly scenario based. The candidates went around in a circle answering the questions. After the interview, I waited a few days before receiving an offer. During the wait, they contacted my references. They are required to hear from three references before moving forward (so make sure your references will respond quickly). After that, I needed a background check, child abuse clearance, and a drug test.
