I called the YMCA explaining I was a skilled lifeguard. Two days later they called back asking me for an interview. When I arrived had to do a back ground check and bring in a resume; followed by a 20 length swim test to test my skills.

Smooth and welcoming. The interaction was positive and conversation flowed nicely throughout. I felt like my answers were being listened to, and that the interviewers were very engaged with me and what I had to say.

What my background was and how it would fit into this role
very good. good people there who work there and i like to work there because it is very fun being outside and talking with good people and free popsicles and the interviewer was nice and respectful and all oof that.
The interview process was overall easy. You just need to have your certifications, you need to pass a breathing test, and you need to pass a swim test. Pretty easy interview.
