The manager of the team set up a virtual meeting. He was direct and upfront about the pay, commission structure (unusual in that it is paid once at the end of the season in October) and requirements for the role.
The first virtual interview was only with the manager, then 2nd interview was also virtual, but with a larger group of people in leadership and on the team.
In the interim, the manager was clear about timeline, set expectations appropriately and genuinely seemed to care about the impact that the organization has had on him and his team.
