I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at The Scion Group (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2025
Interview
I had an initial interview with the recruiter, Jessica. She was communicative, clearly outlined the process, and asked thoughtful questions. She mentioned that the hiring process would involve 4-5 interviews.
Over the course of a month, I completed three interviews, which felt like an unnecessarily long and drawn-out process. My third interview was with a VP who wasn't even part of the team I would be joining. After that, communication went silent. I reached out to the recruiter after about three weeks, and the next day, I received a generic rejection email stating that my experience and skills weren't the right fit.
Given that my qualifications were already reviewed in the initial and second interviews, it felt like a significant waste of time. Additionally, the company enforces a strict five-day, in-office policy, which doesn't seem conducive to a healthy work-life balance.
