Interview
Very disorganized interview process after getting through the first round. My application was lost and hiring manager questioned my aptitude for this position. Questions about work/life balance was taken as an insult.

Interview
I found the interview process at The Pro's Closet to be one of the best interview experiences I have ever had. The HR and recruiting team was quick to respond, transparent about timelines and proactive in sharing next steps. Never once did I get off a phone call or video call and wonder what was next. They were flexible with my schedule and were open about the status of job. They also followed through and connected with references, which I think is an important, yet sometimes overlooked, part of the interview process. I also love that The Pro's Closet is always actively recruiting and going after great talent, not just waiting for the talent to come to them.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Pro's Closet in Nov 2021
Interview
My resume was forwarded to TPC's recruiter by a superior from my previous job, and then got passed to the VP of Analytics after I had a 30 minute phone interview with the recruiter with some baseline questions. Then I was able to schedule a virtual interview with the VP of Analytics over Google Meet, and this interview lasted about 45 minutes. At the end of the virtual interview, the VP arranged a time for me to interview in person in Louisville the next week, which I agreed to. During my in-person interview (which lasted about 3 hours) I got a tour of the office and warehouse, met with one other person on the Analytics team, and then individually interviewed with the VP once more, talking about a specific problem that I would be tasked with if I were to fill the position. At the end of this in-person interview, I was offered the job and accepted, and then negotiated my salary and start date.
