Question 1
What is your past experience working with our target population in research labs? Tell me about a time where you were responsible for the research roadmap and/or responsible for overseeing a research project.

Interview
I applied online and got an invitation to interview over the phone 2 weeks later. I had a conversation with the Content Director, and our conversation went extremely well! Our personalities matched very well and I got a great feel for what it would be like to work at TGI. It was really nice to have someone be genuine during a phone interview and open to a conversation, rather than a classic formal Q&A style. After the phone interview, I was invited to complete a design assignment, which I would share at our follow-up in person interview in 2 weeks. During this time, I got offered a job at a different company, which I accepted, although if I had to pick between the two companies I definitely would have gone with TGI. The interview process was so smooth and everyone was very kind!

Interview
Started with a phone interview then a quick turnaround for an in person. We met and I thought everything went really well. Great conversation, great questions- at the very least a pleasant experience. The hiring manager was a tad unfriendly but that can be chalked up to personality. They walked me out and never said another word to me. They sent an email letting me know they decided to pursue other candidates which is fine but when I asked for some feedback- no response again. I think for a mental health agency, this is poor and insulting communication.
