I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Durst Organization (New York, NY) in Sep 2025
Interview
I went through several rounds, including a written assignment. The process was organized, but the communication at the end lacked transparency and closure. After multiple interviews, I received an automated rejection with no feedback. I hope they improve candidate communication, especially at later stages.

Interview
The hiring coordinator that I was scheduled to speak with no showed the scheduled time time to speak twice in a two day period. I know people can be busy and things happen but twice in a row. When we finally did connect the discussion was fine.

Question 1
They asked about projects and buildings I had worked on. Nothing really about the actual work.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Durst Organization in Jan 2023
Interview
The initial phone screening went well, even sent over a design test which they required. It was all well received, and then upon trying to reschedule my second interview because I had the flu, they decided to end the interview process with me because I "wasn't committed". I was appalled after giving them essentially free labor with the design test, and wanting to reschedule an interview because I had the flu. If this is an indicator of how Durst treats their employees, perhaps it's best to steer clear of this company.

Pretty standard questions, but they did require a design test
