Worst interview experience. The interviewer was 13 minutes late to the Zoom interview. After joining the interview, they needed an additional 5 minutes to get ready, which is now 20 minutes into our scheduled interview time. The interviewer was unprepared as they had not reviewed my resume before requesting a Zoom meeting. They reviewed my resume and began to interrogate my work history. The interviewer then apologized and stated I was overqualified for the position and ended the interview in 12 minutes. Feedback after the interview was that they were not going to move forward and were looking for more of an "organic" conversation. As a business professional, the interviewer must know how to appropriately conduct an interview session. It is also good for the interviewer to have a strong grasp of time management. As the interviewer, you are a representation of your company. Seeing that this is a law firm, as a consumer you would hope that the management (and lawyers) show up on time and prepared.
