I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at The Cigna Group (Bloomfield, CT)
Interview
I had my first interview at the Grace Hopper Celebration in October of 2019. It was a behavioral interview; I was asked around 8 questions, and it was pretty relaxed.
The next day, I received an email about the Round 2 Day Interview. I chose to go to the main headquarters in Bloomfield, CT in November 2019.
The Round 2 Day Interview was fun! It didn't feel too intense; everyone was nice and intentional. There were two rounds of interviews - behavioral interview by two people and then a group interview. The group interview was a group activity for 35 minutes. Then, after listening to a panel of past/current TECDP interns/associates, we had lunch and time to talk to employees and managers. I gained a lot of insight about Cigna.
The only downside I would say is that many people I met at Cigna have not been good about emailing me back. I've contacted at least 8 people and about 3 got back to me. For thank-you emails, I understand lack of responses; however, when I email with questions or requests for further information, it is a bit disappointing to not hear back.
I was not that bad. I would say there final stage was almost 6-7 hours. But the actual interview process of that was 45 mins. They spend a lot of time talking about the company and ask you to ask questions to Alumni from your school and current employees.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at The Cigna Group in Sep 2025
Interview
There was first a recruiter phone interview. the second round consists of the first round behavioral. The second round is a super day that consists of the overview of the program with a case study with up to around 4-6 people in your group and individual behavioral round.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to learn something in a very short amount of time.
One long day of three interviews and a lunch and breakfast. Kind of like a group interview style but the interviews were one-on-one. I would highly reccomened! It was not that difficult and i think they were more so looking for people who could communicate well
