Applied on April, received an e-mail late May that they want me to have a phone interview. I had scheduled my first phone interview but had to reschedule it last minute as the interviewer “forgot” and was in a rush cause they were “traveling” and had “forgotten” to put my interview on his calendar. I thought that was very unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. By June, I received an e-mail from another recruiter and arranged another time for interview. Had to go back in forth so many times before we can agree to a specific time. During the interview, I managed to ask the interviewer couple questions specially relating to the companies values and culture and I was rather disappointed that she sounded “annoyed” by me asking theses questions and I was not impressed by the culture that was described to me “we work hard and party hard”. I was expecting a more substantive answer, something that was unique to this company and not something that is generic. After the interview I realized that I didn’t fit with this company’s culture and definitely not happy about how they “respected” my time.
