I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Battery Conservancy (New York, NY) in Feb 2025
Interview
Applied online and was selected for a 30-minute first round interview. Had a great conversation with the department lead and was asked basic behavioral and hypothetical questions. "Tell me about yourself...", "What would you do if...". The lead appeared aware of the org's "reputation", and was able to speak to questions about that. Enjoyed the conversation, but ended up withdrawing because it was not what I was looking for, as a fully on-site position.

Interview
I was interviewed for the wrong position despite my cover letter and email stating which position I applied for. Felt like a waste of time because of this. Otherwise the interview was standard.

Interview
I applied by email and was invited for an interview with two education managers in about a week. It was a pretty easygoing and casual interview with very friendly women. They asked about my farming/gardening and teaching experience. Ultimately they went with a candidate who had more experience in these fields.
