I was asked to do a take-home test after a first-round interview. I assumed it would be the typical editing test or an outline of how I approached an article. Instead, I was asked to complete 3 news articles on provided topics. Each article had to have a minimum of 500 words with unique headlines and a 160-word dek. I was also asked to provide strong headers/titles. This took a significant amount of time, and I received zero response. No thank you or rejection email.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to disagree with some one on a project?
HR contacted me for phone for interview, that went well and he told me he’d be in touch for next steps. He reached back out with video meet with hiring manager. That interview seemed to go well as HR reached out that I would have another video meeting with controller. HR asked for my availability and I provided, he said he would follow with confirmation. I did not hear back from HR or the hiring manager. I emailed both and received no responses, which is very unprofessional. If you selected another candidate for whatever reason just say so.
