I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Thales (Basingstoke, England) in Mar 2016
Interview
The Interview was conducted by 2 hiring managers. The first 15 minutes of the interview required me to do a presentation on my final year project and how it relates to the company and role I had applied for. The second part of the interview was an extremely in-depth technical interview with a few on the spot mathematical tasks.
For graduate level position, not on the graduate scheme, one interview for one hour, discussed experience and knowledge of the company and engineering. Quite straightforward and no hidden tricks, empathetic interviewer.
1 hour interview on site in Glasgow. I was asked around 8-10 questions mostly based on previous experience 'describe a time when....'. Interviewers were friendly and made me feel at ease. I was asked about typical things involved in the role such as previous experience with DOORS and customer requirements elicitation.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Thales in Aug 2024
Interview
Contacted by recruiter but then heard nothing for a few weeks until they reached out to me via phone saying they had technical issues.
We talked and they told me that they "work for me" and really want me to get the job. Ultimately it wasn't a match but she said the team is opening up another req that would better suit my skillset and she'd let me know. A month goes by, I hear nothing. I reached out about another posting they had (assumedly the one she had mentioned earlier) and I didn't receive any response. Calls were forwarded and messages weren't returned. Struck me as really unprofessional.
