I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tesla (Barcelona) in Jun 2017
Interview
I was approached via LinkedIn by the manager of recruiting team. Interview took place in June 2017. Was quite pleasant, the interviewer was knowledgable, open about company I liked the fact he wasn't afraid of sharing what kind of challenges they are facing.
In the end I was told there is going to be another interview with a colleague and they will come back to me early next week, in the end of that week I asked for update, I received an e-mail after about 5 days people are currently on the annual leave, asking to be patient, then after another week I sent another reminder...waiting couple of days I received "generic reject" without any further explanations.
Without the empty promise and significant delays it'd be good candidate experience.

Question 1
Why Tesla?

How many reqs I am working on?
Why I do recruitment - What makes me get out of bed every morning?
The interview process was extremely quick. There were 4 rounds in total, and I received feedback within 24 - 48 hours. The recruiter was nice and answered all of my questions in preparation for the interview. They also provided interview tips without asking.
I applied online. I interviewed at Tesla in Apr 2026
Interview
No-show. Recruiter emailed me urgently to schedule a call. However, they didn't end up calling me at the arranged time. I emailed to follow up incase. something had happened. No response. It's been over 1 week. No response is a response....

Interview
The process for scheduling and submitting pre-interview questions felt a bit manual and back-and-forth. It might be more seamless if interview time selection and any pre-interview questions were integrated directly into the online job application or online, rather than being handled via multiple emails afterward.
