I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Tes Global (London, England) in Apr 2016
Interview
Started with a casual chat in coffee shop, followed by meetings in office.
In the office I had a round table chat and questions from a number of engineers including remote staff.
I then pair programmed with remote developer on a code Kata/puzzle - puzzle was at a nice level, with some good gotchas, set up for it was good. Person testing / pairing with me was looking for me to succeed moving me forward rather than getting picky over details.

Question 1
Can you talk us through the idea of micro-services and why you would choose to use them?
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tes Global (Sheffield, England) in Jun 2022
Interview
HR screen.
45 minute interview with 2 technical people.
Typical modern interview, focus on stuff that isn't core to the job, and if you haven't worked in a company that used it you get rejected - even if it's not really hard to pick it up or whatever.
Oh, and don't reject a back end developer for not knowing much front end stuff - it comes over daft, as if you haven't read the CV properly.
