      Treasury Analyst Interview

      Jul 7, 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Somerset, NJ
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Terumo (Somerset, NJ) in Nov 2014

      Interview

Well, the interview was 4 hours long. Yes- that wasn't a typo... 4 hours long. 4 different people and I was given 2 bathroom breaks and 2 bottles of water and had to take PTO time from my current job to do this. No, it wasn't for a NASA Engineer job but a $50k per year job. Each person asked mostly the same questions and by the time I got to the last interviewer, my brain was complete mush. Since I was suited up, I was sweating like a sow in heat for 4 hours and I felt so dehydrated and couldn't function. By the time I got to the 4th person, who was the hiring manager, I forgot everything. She was extremely hung up on the treasury systems and made it seem like unless you already have experience with the system that no one can possibly learn it. I explained that it's not difficult for me to learn things as long as I have a decent trainer. I taught my 89 year old grandfather how to properly operate a smart phone in 2 hours... I think I can learn to work your golden treasury system.
